The problem
What makes it hard
The textbook case for Level A: a building where a capable adversary can stand a few metres from the wall, around the clock, entirely legally.
The installation is where it fails. Unfiltered mains, red and black cable in the same tray, or a fiber leaving the zone through a hole somebody drilled afterwards. The equipment is approved; the installation is not.
How it is built
Codec switch: several networks, one set of peripherals
The control path sits outside every network, and the switch is sealed for exactly that reason.
