Fibersystem AB is committed to making fibersystem.com usable for everyone. This statement describes how the site measures up against WCAG 2.2 level AA and EN 301 549, what is not yet accessible, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Why we publish this
The Swedish Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Service (2018:1937) binds public bodies. Fibersystem is a private company and is not covered by it. We publish this statement anyway, for three reasons: EN 301 549 is a standard requirement in public procurement under LOU, our customers are the organisations the law does bind, and a security supplier’s own website ought to be exemplary regardless of what the law minimally demands.
Compliance status
The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. The exceptions are listed below.
Content that is not accessible
Non-compliance with the accessibility requirements
Downloadable documents (93 PDFs, 45 MB). The datasheets, certificates and manuals in the document archive are not tagged for accessibility. They lack a defined reading order and document language, and several older datasheets are scanned rather than generated, which means they have no text layer at all. They fail WCAG 1.3.1, 1.3.2 and 3.1.1.
We are not going to claim a date we cannot hold for re-issuing 93 documents. What we commit to instead is concrete: ask us and you get the content of any document in an accessible format within three working days. Contact details are below.
Machine-extracted specification tables. The specification tables on the product pages were extracted from the PDF datasheets. They are correct where they are published, and 24 tables that came out garbled have been removed rather than corrected by guesswork — but that means some products show fewer specifications on the page than the datasheet contains. The datasheet remains the binding document.
Not yet assessed
Screen reader review. The site has been tested with automated tools and by keyboard, but a full review with NVDA and VoiceOver has not been carried out. Until it has, we cannot claim full compliance, and this statement says partially compliant for that reason as much as for the PDFs.

Tell us what did not work, on which page, and what you were trying to do. Write to sales@fibersystem.com. You will get an acknowledgement within three working days and an answer on what we intend to do about it.
If you are not satisfied with our response, the Swedish Agency for Digital Government (DIGG) operates a complaints procedure. It formally covers public bodies rather than private companies, but we would rather be measured by that standard than argue that it does not apply to us.
How this was assessed
Self-assessment, carried out during the rebuild of the site.
- Automated: axe-core 4.13 against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 levels A and AA, run over 37 pages covering every page template in both languages. Zero violations.
- Reflow and text spacing: measured at 320 px effective width, equivalent to 400 % zoom, and with the text spacing values from WCAG 1.4.12 applied. Zero pages require horizontal scrolling; wide tables scroll inside their own container.
- Keyboard: the full tab order on the home page, the catalogue and the quote form, on the actual keyboard. Every focus stop has a visible focus indicator. No focus traps.
- Not carried out: screen reader review with NVDA and VoiceOver, and testing on a wide touchscreen.
The site is built without cookies, without third-party scripts and without tracking, which removes a class of accessibility problems rather than solving them.
