It extends the reach of balanced G.703 connections up to 2 km, ensuring interference-free, cost-effective transmission without signal degradation. The unit supports all IEEE C37.94 channel configurations and is easy to set up. The 21-216 is designed to connect teleprotection equipment to telecom multiplexers in substations. It can also directly interconnect protection devices when one or both units lack optical interfaces.
